As a result of intelligence received this afternoon, armed officers immobilised a vehicle believed to be in possession of firearms. All three occupants were detained and arrested, and are currently being processed at a South London police station. No members of the public or officers were injured as a result of the incident.

The traffic lights at Kennington Road junction with Lambeth Road are all stuck on red. Congestion growing. London Traffic Control have been informed and are currently working to solve the problem. Please be aware if entering the area as traffic is increasing and drivers becoming irate.

There has been an incident in The Cut, SE1, near the Old Vic Theatre. Three youths have been injured in some sort of altercation. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Currently there are no cordons or road closures in place. Police and ambulance service staff are dealing.

Stop Climate Change March - "The Wave"
Date : 5th December
Time : 11-3pm
Route : Grosvenor Square - Carlos Place - Berkley Square - Berkeley Street - Piccadilly - Lower Regent Street - Waterloo Place - Cockspur Street - Whitehall - Parliament Street - Parliament Square - St Margaret's Street - Abingdon Street - Millbank - Lambeth Bridge - Lambeth Palace Road - Westminster Bridge - Victoria Embankment.
It is suggested that up 40 thousand people will be taking part. It has been stated that on the whole it will be a "family orientated" day running from 11am to 3pm.
Road Closures (closed to vehicles) :
Vauxhall Bridge (Northbound)
Lambeth Palace Road
Lambeth Bridge
Westminster Bridge
Albert Embankment
The need may arise to close other roads on the day. There will be access into St Thomas Hospital as needed and stewards will be available on the day to facilitate access to other areas/roads closed to vehicles.
This event coincides with a "Car Free Day" in Westminster, so please avoid driving in the area if possible as heavy congestion is expected.

MISPER FOUND - Orville DASH has been found safe and well at WESTBOURNE PARK LT STN and has been returned home.

We would like to ask you to look out for an elderly missing person. Orville DASH, dob 25/12/1941 went missing from his home address in Vauxhall yesterday morning. He suffers from Alzheimers Disease and may not be able to find his way home. He is known to frequent FERNDALE ROAD and BRIXTON TOWN CENTRE as he used to reside there. He is a black male, F509 tall, with black/greying hair. He has glasses and was wearing a black leather jacket, a grey striped shirt and black trousers. He may appear confused. We are concerned for his welfare and ask that, if you see him or come across him, you contact Police immediately.

Mispers mother has attended KENNINGTON front office to say that Michael has returned home as he had missed his last train home.

A 16 year old male, Michael TIEHOULE has gone missing from his home in the Stockwell area. He was last seen on friday 8th May at 0800am when he left house to go school. His mother later found his school uniform discared on his bedroom floor.
Michael has gone missing before and returned of his own accord but his mother is worried for his safety.

Travel update as of 1655:
There are no problems reported on the roads and no road closures this side of the river. The bridges are all open to road traffic although there may be delays during rushhour due to the number of protesters and the police presence north of the river.
There were NO reported problems at the following main line train stations:
Waterloo, London Bridge, Charing Cross.
The following tube stations are closed until further notice:
Shadwell and Bank.
The following tube lines are suspended until further notice:
Waterloo and City
There are severe delays on the Bakerloo Line and DLR.
The DLR is suspended between Shadwell and Bank tube stations at police request.

Your help is required to locate a High Risk Missing Male from the Brixton area. Antony LYNCH 73 yrs suffers from dementia. Described as a white male, approx 5 feet 10 with grey hair and a grey moustache and an Irish accent. Last seen leaving his home at 1130am wearing a navy blue jacket and cap with black corduroy trousers and shoes. Known to frequent the Kennington and East London areas.
