Dear Community Safe Member PS James Bourne has recently joined the Team and will be taking over from PS Keith Walker who is to retire at the end of the month. Keith has been instrumental in establishing the Team from the implementation of the Safer Neighbourhoods initiative across London. The team has continued to work jointly with other Wards and Traffic Support Units to mount ANPR operations (automatic number plate recognition) in order to detect offences and disrupt criminal activity in general. This has proven to be extremely successful and will be continued to be used at key venues. We are very keen to develop Community Safe further, however, we are dependent on your feedback so that we can address any local concerns or issues that affect you directly.
