Dear residents, Colliers Wood has experienced a low level of crime in this last two weeks, with two burglaries reported, four thefts from motor vehicles (two theft of motorcycles), and again no Robberies. These figures are good, but as always we are not resting on our laurels, and will endeavour to improve on these results. Remember, basic crime prevention will deter most criminals. There's been another search warrant obtained, and Police have executed it at a house in SW19. We recovered powder (believed to be Class A Drugs), shotgun cartridges and other items. The occupant was arrested and is currently on Police bail. The Colliers Wood Residents Association is having a meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday 5th January 2010 at the Colliers Wood Community Centre to talk about local issues. I will be attending so if you want to have a chat, I will be hanging around after the meeting. As always, your Safer Neighbourhoods Team patrol on foot, pedal cycle and motorcycle.
