In the past two weeks crime on the ward as expected has increased slightly from a 59 days without a burglary on the ward. With the Tennis drawing in many thousands of people onto the ward we have seen an increase in minor thefts and theft's from motor vehicle's. The team has been working with a neighbouring wards both in uniform and plain clothes , to increase patrols in vulnerable areas particularly the town centre.
