Bogus parcels 20 Jul 15:07
Dear Residents of Longthornton, It has come to our notice recently that there has been 2 instances where residents have been asked to collect or sign for parcels by 'neighbours'. The reason has been that the intended recepient put in the wrong address at the time of ordering. This is highly unlikely and is a tactic used by criminals to have items delivered to unsuspecting occupants without any of the risk associated with using their own address. It is not possible to be sure what you are signing for and if you might be assisting offenders. Please do not accept deliveries on behalf of anyone you do not know personally and please report this matter to us as soon as possible. We are available on 0208 721 2742.
