eAlert Message from The City of London Police Message Start -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We would like to thank our communities for assisting us yesterday during the tragic incident at Aldgate and your continued patience and understanding whilst we secure forensic evidence help other agencies to get Aldgate Station running again. We do not need to remind you to remain vigilant at all times because this is a constant message that you know well. We would, however, encourage you to review your contingency, business continuity plans and security arrangements in the event of any future event. Also, there is a need to retain your cctv recordings safely until we contact you. Please make the necessary arrangements with your security teams. Please visit the City of London Police website on www.cityoflondon.police.uk. There is a hyperlink to a witness details form requesting details from anyone within your organisation that may feel that they have seen or heard anything about yesterdays incidents that may be helpful to the investigation. Please encourage staff who are potential witnesses to use the form. Alternatively, they can contact the Anti-Terrorist hotline on 0800 789321. For anyone that wish to find out about an individual that may have been a victim of yesterdays attack, the Casualty Bureau number is 08701 566344. Further useful information can also be obtained from the Corporation of London\'s website at www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation. At the time of the incidents across London yesterday, you may have experienced difficulty whilst using mobile phones and \'land lines\'. We are encouraging all organisations to keep calls to a minimum if further events occur. This may help the telephony system to maintain a service. If you have security staff that are part of Project Griffin, we would ask that you deploy them with their high visibility jackets on immediate vicinity external patrol over the weekend if you can. Lastly, we have greatly valued all your assistance. We are working hard to help you get back to work.
