eAlert Message from The City of London Police Message Start -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will no doubt be aware of the tragic incidents that have taken place across London resulting in some deaths and many casualties. Please be assured that the City of London Police service, the Metropolitan Police the British Transport Police are working together with the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Service to save life, treat the injured and minimise the potential from further attack. Cordons are being reduced and some access to buildings are being allowed balanced with the need for these specialist units to complete their tasks. They are all working hard to return the City back to normality. Whilst they are doing this, we would urge you and your staff to remain vigilant and tune into the media to receive up to date news that we provide. We would advise you to only travel into London if necessary for the time being and contact police only in an emergency. Contact telephone numbers will be given shortly.
