Messages will be sent to subscribers when an incident occurs within or outside of the Borough of Enfield and poses a threat to human life or the property of our residents. You will also be informed of any incident that has or is likely to cause ‘severe disruption’ to an area of the borough. Examples of all such incidents are: large scale fires, industrial emergencies, suspect packages, severe weather and major transport accidents. Due to the urgent nature of these messages, they will be sent in text message and email format – a charge of 10/12p is associated with receiving texts.
