On Wednesday 31st March 2010 it is anticipated there will be two motor cycle processions from Villiers Street, WC2 to Trafalgar Square. It is anticipated that one event will be at 0800 hrs and the second event will be at 1800 hrs. The protest is by the ‘No to Bike Parking Tax Campaign’. This group are unhappy with Westminster City Council’s introduction of parking charges for motorcycles within the Borough of Westminster. This group’s intention is to cause disruption to a major traffic junction or roundabout by driving in such a manner as to cause congestion. The Organiser suggests about 50 participants.
