ALERT !!! BOGUS CALLER Dear Member, On Saturday 6th June 2010 a male bogus caller knocked on a local address on Warwick Ward late at night. The male pretended to be from the Council Noise team and he wanted the occupants to come out onto the street. This was thought suspicious and as a result police were called and it appears that this male had no connection with the council whatsoever. The callers intention is still unclear but may have been trying to trick his way into the premises. Please always be alert to any unknown callers during night or day. Always make sure that you know who you are dealing with and if in doubt always ask for Identification. If still in doubt call the police.
