Fatal stabbing outside Park Campus School 05 Jul 09:28
Chief Superintendent Nick Ephgrave of Lambeth Borough Police said; “It is with deep sadness that my officers and I dealt with the fatal stabbing of a young man outside Park Campus School last week. It would be quite wrong of me to go into the details of the investigation other than to reassure everyone that the Homicide Command is conducting a thorough and professional investigation. What I do want to make clear is that the relationship between local police and Park Campus School has been and remains a positive and proactive partnership with the aim of minimizing harm to pupils, teachers and local residents alike. Park Campus has an excellent record of taking sensible and proportionate preventative action together with police involving many tactics including the use of knife arches. The police have and will continue to provide a visible presence in and around the school. To provide reassurance to local community and pupils of all schools we are increasing the number of high visible patrols across the borough.”
