Dear Members, On the eveving of Thursday 11th March 2010, a Burglary/Robbery occurred in the area of Pimlico. An elderly female who lives alone, heard a knock on her front door. She opened the front door to find a male there with a quantity of Cash notes in his hand. The male told her that she had her window broken and that a thief had got into her home and stolen her handbag. The male then followed her into her home, whilst inside he pushed her to the floor, then grabbed her handbag and ran off from the premises, luckily causing no injury. The male suspect is described as being a White male, approximate age 50-55 years old, 5ft 07 ins in height, medium build with short brown hair, clean shaven and possibly with an Irish accent. Your local Ward Team advise you to check the identification of all callers whether you are expecting them or not and if you are not happy with who they are, please close your door and immediately call 999(Emergency) 0r 0300 123 1212
