Stonecot Safer Neighbourhood Team has been working to tackle boy racers who have been congregating at Tesco’s car park in Oldfields Road on Thursday evenings. Combined use of the CCTV van, local officers and specialist traffic units has enabled them to reduce the number of incidents, together with numerous ‘stops’ as well as tickets for various offences. All of which have helped to tackle this issue.
