Dear residents,

The Colliers Wood Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be taking our reassurance bus to Bygrove Road at the junction with Denison Road this Wednesday 1st July between 6pm and 8pm to meet our residents and listen to their concerns. We will also be offering free bicycle marking and crime prevention advice.

This is as a result of residents concerns around anti-social behaviour in the area after a number of vehicles were damaged in the surrounding roads last week. Four boys have been arrested for the damage and are on bail from Wimbledon Police Station. This is an isolated incident and out of character for Colliers Wood ward where the team work hard to keep anti-social behaviour as low as possible.

Some residents have told us about what they saw but unfortunately at the time did not phone the police. I urge anyone who see’s crime happening to please phone 999 at the time. If you don’t believe it requires an immediate response, lower level incidents can be reported on 0300 123 1212. For non emergency incidents Colliers Wood SNT can be contacted on 0208 721 2743 but this number is not answered 24 hours a day therefore you may have to leave a message and may not get an immediate response.
