Annual Tug of War Competition at the Village Fair:

Thames TV), the Wimbledon Village Police Safer
Neighbourhoods Team invites you to enter its
ANNUAL TUG O’ WAR on SATURDAY 20 JUNE
at the Wimbledon Village Fair, Wimbledon
Common (Southside).
12.00 Noon - MIXED ‘FUN’ EVENT Teams
must include a fair spread of male/female adults (no cheating
with 8 or 9 men & 1 or 2 females)! Children may be included.
2.00 pm - MEN’S EVENT – Competitive but great
fun, drawing big crowds! Can you do it? Yes you can!
You will need 8 people per team + 2 reserves
Local police officers will be entering too! So, demonstrate
your community spirit, take up the challenge and join in the
fun! Families, residents, schools, students, youth, religious &
sporting groups, businesses, banks, pubs & bars, taxi drivers,
bus drivers, postmen....are all welcome!
