At present we have three ward priorities set by our ward panel which are :-

1. Residential Burglary
2. Theft of Pedal Cycle
3. Anti-Social Behaviour by groups of youths.

The panel meets around four times a year, and determines what the team priorities will be. The next meeting is scheduled for 6.00 p.m. 22nd January 2009 at Raynes Park Library. If you would like to become a member of the panel, or would like any issues raised at the meeting please let us know.

We have used a number of tactics to tackle our priorities, these include an Automatic Number Plate Reader operation in West Barnes Lane, and a Search Arch operation in Raynes Park Railway Station to disrupt and detect offenders. We also had a Crime Prevention Officer on the ward during our Action in Merton Week.

Burglary traditionally increases around the Christmas period. We intend provide crime prevention advice to as many households on the ward as possible.
