Welcome to what is the first update from Ravensbury Ward SNT via ‘Community Safe’.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for signing up to Community Safe. I hope that you find it to be a useful and informative medium from which to learn what your local SNT are doing on a regular basis, as well as information about local crime trends.

Our activities over the last two weeks have focused on prevention of disorder associated with Halloween and Fireworks night. We assisted Merton Park SNT in ensuring the Merton Park Primary School’s firework night in Church Lane Playing Fields passed off without event or injury. We hope it was a financially successful evening for the school.

A cannabis factory was discovered in Leonard Avenue on Saturday 18th October 2008. We thank a resident for vigilance and support in detecting the venue.
