An Action In Merton Week is being launched on Monday 10th November at 10am and will run until 15th November on the Carters Estate, West Barnes Lane, Raynes Park. Action In Merton Week is about pulling all agencies resources together in providing awareness on the many of services that are available for the community, this includes Met Police Support, London Fire Brigade, NHS services and other agencies linked into Merton. The week is about raising awareness of some of the work being done by local agencies in Merton to tackle crime and anti social behaviour to make the community safer and cleaner. It will take the form of a week of action bringing together public services and members of the community to address the concerns that are raised to us. There is a weekly drop in surgery and this will take place as normal on Thurs 13th November 2008 between 1030-1130 for Raynes Park residents. It is held in the portakabin outside Farnham Gardens on the estate. We would like to see you at the launch on the 10th and the surgery on the 13th.
